How Monopoly Live works
Players bet on 1, 2, 5, 10, 2 Rolls or 4 Rolls; Chance is not on the betting grid. The host spins the wheel and the segment under the pointer decides the round. A number pays its own value to one with the stake returned, so 10 pays 10:1. The game runs at roughly 1,550 to 1,600 spins a day in our data.
The wheel layout
Out of 54 segments, 22 carry a 1, 15 carry a 2, 7 carry a 5 and 4 carry a 10. The remaining six are 3 × 2 Rolls, 2 × Chance and 1 × 4 Rolls. So the number 1 has a 40.74% share and 2 has a 27.78% share. 2 Rolls turns up roughly once in 18 spins, Chance once in 27 and 4 Rolls once in 54. On a layout like this, waits of 150 spins or more for 4 Rolls are normal.
Chance and the board bonus
Chance: Mr Monopoly turns over a card that holds either a cash prize, paid out to all players, or a multiplier. When a multiplier comes up, every bet remains where it is and the wheel is spun once more; a second Chance multiplies the first one, and a bonus won on the respin carries the multiplier onto the board. Over our last 30 days, Chance handed out a cash prize 38% of the time and a multiplier 62% of the time. 2 Rolls and 4 Rolls open the board game with no fewer than two or four dice rolls. Mr Monopoly advances by the dice total and picks up the prizes on the squares he lands on; a double grants an extra roll, unless it is used to leave Jail.
Payouts and RTP
The theoretical return varies from one bet to another. The top figure, 96.23%, belongs to the number 2; all other bets pay back less.
How to read this page
The "Longest bonus drought" panel indicates which of 4 Rolls, 2 Rolls and Chance has gone the longest without hitting compared with its 30-day average. For each of these, the bonus tracker shows spins since the last hit, earlier gaps and recent results: the total board multiplier for 2 Rolls and 4 Rolls, and for Chance either the respin multiplier or, in green, the cash prize. "Results today and yesterday" sets actual landed counts against expected ones, while "Biggest wins" orders spins by the total amount paid out to players.
